Eager-Easeful Attentiveness

Dear Spirit to Spirit friend,

I was taking a walk in my neighborhood the other day. Coming toward me was a stunning husky, walking briskly with tremendous joy and enthusiasm. Full of eagerness in seeing each new person, relishing every surprising scent, listening attentively to each new sound.

This beautiful big "pup" was also very much at ease with everything, wonderfully relaxed and centered while leaning forward in great anticipation that each new thing was, in fact, the most exciting and amazing new thing.

What a great way to meet life! In relaxed presence, openness, and joyful anticipation. Eager-easeful-attentive. Especially meaningful to us human beings right now, isn't it, as we seek to find the best right way to re-enter our out-of-the home lives again.

In being themselves, animals continually offer us the gift of how to live life lessons if we observe them and take note of the subtlety of who they are and how they, in themselves and in life.

Perhaps we can embrace what this husky has so beautifully offered in his simply being himself on his walk- gentle, natural, easy, deeply attentive to all of life.

Perhaps we can take a cue from him and step into our own natural easeful presence.

And, if we need a reminder, we only need to look to our animal family members or to the wild ones. Our True Nature remembers Itself as It is touched by theirs... and we will discover ourselves as we truly are...the same as they truly are.

All of us...as we truly are...together, in each moment of life.

In Gratitude & Love, Joanna
