Dear Spirit to Spirit friend,
There are so many incredible stories in the world about unique relationships between human beings and non-human beings. Relationships that demonstrate a kind of love and care, trust and connection that goes beyond our capacity to fully understand.
This is one of those stories- of beautiful and precious connection. This story was in a recent Good News Network newsletter.
In just one moment- one moment of stopping, noticing, and taking compassionate action- this teenage girl not only saved the life of this bumblebee but invited a relationship that stetches far beyond what we may think is possible... one full of a richess we never could imagine.
This young woman may be our greatest teacher today. She is inviting us to pay more attention, to notice what is so small and yet so significant, and to take action on behalf of
the ones who are more vulnerable. To see value in each being, to treat all living beings,
all life, as precious.
For this is truly the way in which we will not only nourish our own hearts and souls but also uplift the hearts, souls, and lives of others.
