Yes To Life

Dear Spirit to Spirit friend,

As we round the corner toward the end of this 2022 year and open to life before us

in 2023, spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle offers this wisdom as a way to walk into the New Year.

“The past has no power over the present moment. Whatever the present moment contains, accept

it as if you had chosen it.

Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create resistance to what already is? What could be more insane that to oppose life itself, which is now and always now?

Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life- and see how life suddenly starts to work for you rather than against you.

If you can learn to accept and even welcome the endings in your life, you

may find that the feeling of emptiness that initially felt uncomfortable turns into a sense of inner spaciousness that is deeply peaceful.

As soon as you honor the present moment, unhappiness and struggle dissolve, and life begins to flow with joy and ease.

When you act out of the present- moment awareness, whatever you do becomes imbued with a sense of quality, care, and love.”
