They Purr!

Dear Spirit to Spirit friend,

We all know that elephants are extremely complex beings. Highly intelligent, sensitive, with long memories. And deeply emotional as we have read about their traveling to hold memorials over deceased herd member.

But do we know how strong their connections are with their human friends and caretakers? How much they love them and express their emotions with them? Do we know that elephants purr and trill in joy?!

You will be amazed by this video of the reunion of caretaker Darrick with his herd of elephant beloveds after a month's time away from them. This is the Khamla herd at the Elephant Nature Park in Northern Thailand.
