Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.
Because you are alive, everything is possible.
Waking up in the morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look to all beings with eyes of compassion.
Life is a miracle, and being aware of simply this can already make us very happy."
As we welcome in and embrace the energy of the New Year, may we remember this:
Life is a miracle. Because we are alive, everything is possible.
Thich Nhat Hanh tells us that we will feel very happy when we become aware of this.
And, something even greater is possible. As we become deeply aware of the miracle of life- as we feel it in our bones and in the Essence of our being- we can finally come to peace...
within ourselves, in life, and in our world.
As we embody the miracle that is life, we become a living miracle. The miracle of life will reveal itself through us and we will witness its presence in every moment. Life will become a different kind of experience.
May 2021 be the year that we become aware of the great miracle that we are all living.
In 2021, may we open our eyes and witness the miracle of life expressing itself through us and throughout our planet in the extraordinary and glorious ways that it does.
