Q. WHAT IS SPIRITUAL HEALING?

A. Spiritual Healing is based on understanding that life in its most essential nature is “Energy”. This Energy has been described in a myriad of ways by many different cultures and traditions throughout time. It has been called Spirit, God, Consciousness, Prana, Life Force, the All, and more. Energy or Spirit is the essence that “is” all living beings and all things. It is the force that creates the universe and all life and it exists everywhere and in everything.

Spiritual Healing is an ancient form of “Energy Medicine” that can assist an animal in awakening Spirit within which can bring about healing in the animal’s life.

Q. HOW DOES SPIRITUAL HEALING WORK WITH ANIMALS?

A. Animals have an innate sense of themselves as spiritual beings, as Energy beings. It is simply who they are and how they live. They have a natural sense of how to balance in themselves, in their lives and in nature.

When animals find themselves struggling with balance due to challenges in life, Spiritual Healing can act as a loving assist in helping them reawaken their connection with Spirit within. Spiritual Healing calls forth the Energy of all life- of healing- that is alive in the animal and everywhere. The possibility of transformation in all areas of life then becomes present.

Q. WHAT KINDS OF CONDITIONS IN ANIMALS ARE HELPED BY SPIRITUAL HEALING?

A. Spiritual Healing can help an animal cope with all sorts of challenges in life- those of the mind, body, emotions and spirit. If an animal is having emotional stress (such as adjusting to a new family member) or is exhibiting a challenging behavior (such as fear biting), Spiritual Healing can help the animal recover his/her natural balance and open to new awareness. Emotions, thoughts, and behavior can shift.

If there is a health crisis or the animal is in process of dying, through Spiritual Healing, the animal can find support for healing into life or transitioning into death. Spiritual Healing helps foster serenity, empowerment and acceptance in the animal no matter what the situation.

Q. HOW DO ANIMALS RESPOND TO SPIRITUAL HEALING?

A. Animals are very open and receptive to Spiritual Healing. To them, it feels like they are being held in great love and compassion. During a healing session, animals are usually relaxed and peaceful. They seem to feel acknowledged, supported, and encouraged in being all of who they are. After a healing, animals usually feel more balanced and centered. People often describe their animals as seeming to be more joyful and content in themselves. And the animal’s people often feel better too!

Q. HOW CAN WE KNOW THAT SPIRITUAL HEALING ACTUALLY HELPS?

A. Unlike traditional treatment practices that seek to bring about change through external intervention, Spiritual Healing is a process that calls forth what already exists in the animal and everywhere: Spirit/Energy- the greatest healing force that there is. It is this enlivening of Spirit in the animal that is healing. Animals respond when they are touched in this way. One need only observe the animal to witness the impact of Spiritual Healing. For some animals, healing takes place immediately. For others, it may take time.
