		Special Topic Workshops These workshops focus on topics of special interest and are open to all.
		ANIMALS AS MIRRORS How do you and your animal(s) reflect each other in thought, feeling, behavior and life purpose? This workshop offers you the opportunity to explore your relationship with your animal family member as well as open up new pathways of understanding. You'll learn acceptance of your animal family member along with new ways of learning from each other. TRANSITIONS: ILLNESS, DYING AND DEATH How do animals cope with illness, dying and death? How can you help your animal(s), yourself, your family and others at these stressful times? We'll discuss the animal's experience in challenging health situations, and you'll learn how to be a centered presence as you support and assist animals in periods of transition. COMPASSION IN ACTION With your deep love for animals, how can you be of greater service to them... in your home, your community and in the world? This workshop explores how you can open yourself to "selfless compassion" so that positive change can emerge from a more compassionate state of being. Discover ways in which you can become a force for change on behalf of the animals locally and in the world around you. HEALING THROUGH WRITING: ANIMAL MEMOIRS In times of joy and sadness, writing about your animal family member(s) can have a powerful healing impact in your life. This workshop will give you the opportunity to express your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a warm and supportive setting. Writing from your heart and soul, you'll be able to create and share personal healing memoirs of your beloved animal family member(s). GROUP HEALING DAY Come and receive personal assistance for your animal family member through group communication, meditation, prayer and healing. Everyone will have the opportunity to receive communication and healing for one animal family member (via a photograph) and will be an essential part of the healing process, assisting others in their animals' healings.
